This policy describes how Dashaun Studios ("we") handles information in connection with the playvls.com website and the VLS desktop application ("the Game"). We do not run advertising, we do not use analytics or tracking services, and we do not sell or share personal information with third parties.
playvls.com does not set cookies and does not use analytics. Our web server maintains standard, short-lived access logs (IP address, requested resource, timestamp) for operational and security purposes only. The interactive demo on this site runs entirely within your browser; any league it generates is stored in your browser's local storage on your device, is never transmitted to us, and can be removed at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
Single-player franchise data, settings, and any files you import are stored locally on your device. This data is not transmitted to Dashaun Studios.
When you host or join an online league, our server stores the information required to operate that league: the league name and code, your chosen display name, your selected team, the league's game state, and a randomly generated client identifier that associates your device with your seat in the league. No account is created and no email address, password, or real name is collected. League data is retained while the league is active and is deleted when the league is removed. This information is used solely to operate the league.
The desktop application periodically contacts our update server to check for new versions. As with any network request, this involves your IP address; we do not store it beyond standard server logs or use it for any other purpose.
This website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads; see Google's Privacy Policy. Purchases of the Game are processed by the third-party storefront through which it is sold; we do not receive or store payment details. The storefront's own privacy policy governs the purchase transaction.
The website and the Game are not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
